Honda Powersports - New purchase encounter

Spent 130,000 pesos on a new scooter so you would think the salespeople would give you the time of day. I had to babysit the sales staff to get me to buy a scooter and leave at a decent time as i had future appointments that day.

Told them I would be back the next day in the afternoon thinking they would have time to prep the bike and I would show up then leave. I was dead wrong. Wasted a half a day there because of lazy salesman. I've never encountered so many sales staff with that I don't care mentality when your spending money there.

They can keep the free oil changes.

I won't step foot inside a honda motorsports (Angeles City, Philippines) for anything except to pick up my registration in 3 or 4 months. If it wasn't for a decent product their doors would be permanently closed!

Complaint about a product and the dealership who sold

I have purchased a vehicle from DSW Honda. They claimed the vehicle is new. It is 2018 when I got the vehicle home. The fuel system is not working. Lights are not working idiot lights are on, and my local Honda dealer tells me the vehicle is not under warranty, I do not want this vehicle, and the dealership is no help. Im filing a claim against all monies paid.

Warranty problems started in spring of 23 warranty ended end of July 23 dealer did not call Honda till September 1 Honda said no forgiveness for warranty in spring warranty was very intimate it didn’t

intermittent starting problem since spring of 2023 while bike was still under warranty this was happening to gold wings in Canada since 2019 I don't know why it was never a recall ended up costing me at the dealer 1031.89

Botched oil change and damage yo motorcycle

They did oil change on my 2019 bmw grand america . Said previous mechanic was unqualified and inner plug wax overtightened to the point it could not be removed without removing exhaust and oil pan . I returned the bike to bmw island motorcycle for repair . The plug was easy to remove , not overtightened at all . Honda powder sports refused to accept responsibility for there error and charged me about 250 dollars to damage my bike and an oil change they never completed. Do not take your motorcycle to these people for service . They are incompetent!

Honda poor quality

Purchased a brand new 2021 Honda Pioneer 700-4 Deluxe in January of 2022, In June of 2023 all fluids were changed by a certified Honda dealer and service center in Mount Pleasant MI per the Honda manual recommendations. In late June, we were riding with Grandchildren on trails in northern Michigan when the unit went into limp mode (loss of power).

Since we were several miles from the starting point, we had someone come out to pick us up (1 adults and 3 Grandchildren below the age of 10) along with a trailer to bring the unit back. Returned the unit to the Honda repair/dealer for evaluation and was determined the unit had a premature cam breakdown along with a collapsed piston ring. The case was elevated 3 times in which we were told there will be no assistance and/or goodwill as the warranty had expired. The unit only has 600 miles on the engine.

We have been told, this is a common issue with the 700-4 and Honda is aware of it by several repair facilities across the country. We purchased this unit to ride the Grandchildren and plow snow (once in 2022 once in 2023). We are in our 60's and don't extreme ride, Repair facility said we did nothing wrong and repair's should be covered by Honda. The repairs are over $5200.00.

We have purchased Honda our whole life and never had an issue and want Honda to stand behind their product. If we had 10000 miles we could accept full responsibility.

I given my Honda shine to the service centre S v m motors aynavaram branch honda service center given service for while driving My bike suddenly stopping I faced same problem today. I went with my family & my kid too. And it was suddenly stopped middle of road. And I suffered very badly with my kid on it. We very bad about the service centre. We need solution for this

Heating problem

My friend , and his wife are elderly,and purchased a new Honda 1000 pioneer and no one told them that they had a overheating problem .I was interested in one until this happened .they can't stand this sever heat problem .his name Don Cooper.purchased from Holzhauer power sports Nashville IL.I feel like they should get a refund on this atv .they are older in poor health , they have tried to fix this problem. Still tremendous heat .can't enjoy this machine .please contact them with this matter. Their # 812453**** The coopers .

Heat /oil leaks/front hood latches/oil checking

i thought i was buying a sidexside little did i know i bought a $25,000 bbq grill that looks exactly like a honda pioneer 1000-5 it can cook 400 plus pounds of meat in less than a hour even with aftermarket heat shielding installed. purchased on 3-2-22 took in shop for 100 mi first service now im parking over cardboard to catch all the oil dripping from dct oil filter cover and other places.now checking oil constantly because of leaks and is a real pain in the &$# im not a first timer in sxs but first honda sxs had 4 wheelers in past with no problems have a 700 rhino 12 years old not one issue in 12 years
